COMING SOON: Our philosophy is that understanding comes not only from auditory information; it must be seen, comprehended, and experienced to be mastered. So if you have dreamed of riding well educated horses to learn more about what good contact, balance, impulsion or movements should feel like - it is possible. The typical stay starts with observing a session, then practicing yourself on horses schooled in french classical methods. We share a lunch, and discuss theory and principles to guide your work at home. Then we end the day enjoying the food, wine, castles and culture of the beautiful Dordogne region. Stays can be arranged by request.

Practice on Schooled Horses
Climb in the saddle and put the ideas into practice on educated horses who can share the feeling of correct contact, balance, impulsion and movements. This is your time to absorb and explore with intensive one on one teaching.
Learn about the Theory
We explore themes and theory as an important part of understanding the history and art of what we love. This gives a great opportunity to ask any questions that make you curious. We will connect the theory to our practice sessions and apply it to difficulties you may have at home.

Life is short and the Dordogne is beautiful! Together, we explore the region, food, footpaths, and castles as much as you like. Whether it is the history of the old stone villages, the renowned cuisine, art and culture, or the luscious nature, these trips can be tailored to what interests you most.
